Making lemonade!!!
When life gives you lemons you should always do your best to make lemonade. Today, in my way home from Boston I missed my exit off the Mass pike so I choose to use it as an excuse to tour the Connecticut countryside. It’s a beautiful day and I’m enjoying the adventure. Pictures to follow. Have a great day making lemonade. Eric

Another iPhone from the universe.
As you may know from an earlier blog, I received an iPhone anonymously in the mail. The return address said ” the universe some where out there and every where around you”. Well, about a month ago I was leaving for wrestling practice. As i eaned over to give Keri a kiss, who was in the bath tub. Yes, youn guessed it. SPLASH!!! IPhone + water = BAD. So I had decided to wait till the...

See the greatness in EVERYONE!
After watching the youtube clip of Susan Boyle, the seemingly very ordinary contestant on “Britain Has Got Talent”, I was totally blown away. I had been forwarded this clip by several people. I had chosen not to watch it because I thought I was going to see yet another contestant have their dreams dashed by the judges. Then I read about it not being what it seemed. I was totally blown...

Just to put things into perspective the top five are marriage and children. What a wonderful world I see trees of green, red roses too I see them...

The best day EVER!
What makes the best, the best day? I once worked with an incredible, wacky, wash the outside of the banana before you eat it. She would often remark about how this was the “best day EVER.” Today, while posting a quick audio blog, I found myself channeling this person. Which lead me to the question. What makes the best day ever? I believe the answer is relative and based on the...

Committed versus involved
The easiest way to explain the difference is with a ham and egg breakfast. The chicken sits down and lays the egg and gets up and walks away. INVOLVED. the pig on the other hand gives up his life to the breakfast. COMMITTED. How many people in your business are committed. This goes for employees and customers. Committed employees do whatever it takes to make the customer and management happy....

What do you believe in?
“Well, I believe in the soul, the small of a woman’s back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your...

Our deepest fears...
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about...

The next five years.
The question before us, is, do we feel the next five years will be better than the last five years? Perception is reality! Whatever we believe to be true, we will make true. Are we merely surfing from an economic crisis or a crisis of confidence. The beliefs we hold we shape the outcome if our future. The consumer spending report fir February came out a few days ago. It states that consumer...
